Organist Malcolm Halliday presents music from both Europe and the new world. Works include Mendelssohn’s majestic fourth organ sonata, Boëllmann’s dramatic Suite gothíque and several transcriptions created near the time the organ was built. Also on the program are three works of the Mexican composer Ramón Noble, as well as beloved folks songs and two works harkening back to the Civil War.
